Breakfast at Wal-Mart

Come along for the ride as I try to find my way to where I'm supposed to be. Whether it be Tiffany's or Wal-Mart, it's bound to be a good time getting there!

100 Posts and I Still Haven't Figured Out My Life

Well, well, well.

A lot has happened since I last posted in November. That guy? We parted ways a couple of weeks ago. Clearly, it was not meant to be.

More importantly? I turned THIRTY in January. I can only now say that without a moment of panic creeping into my voice. As it turns out, 30 is really not that much different than 29. Possibly, I've been overreacting.

But then again, I'm 30, single, hate my job, and have no children yet. Um, upside?

The upside is, I've lost 10 pounds since January 5th! Yay me, that means I only have 25 more to go to be around my target weight. I joined a gym last week and anyone who knows me in real life and is reading this can stop laughing now, thank you very much.

So, fun story to share, or Chapter 12 of my biography, which I've decided I'm going to call, "No, I Don't Know Why I'm So Awesome." You'd read it, right?

I've been having trouble sleeping at night so I decided to invest in some melatonin because I've heard good things about it. I took it for about 4 days. Monday night was the 4th night, and on top of the melatonin, I also took 3 excedrin migraine pills because well, I had a migraine.

Did you know that melatonin is REALLY bad for you when you're on Lexapro? Or at least, it's really bad for ME on Lexapro? I woke up at 4:30 in the morning with my heart racing and I couldn't catch my breath. It was terrifying, and I ended up in the ER for about 8 hours as they monitored my heart rate and told me to calm down because my blood pressure was a bit high.

Really? My blood pressure was high when I thought I was having a heart attack? Yeah, I'll get right on that. Silly doctors.

So yeah, apparently, I'm a rockstar and I overdosed on herbal supplements and migraine medication. That's an awesome True Hollywood Story if I've ever heard one. I'm now off the lexapro and we're going to try Wellbutrin instead. The doctor also tried to prescribe me ambien to sleep, but heck no! That stuff killed Heath Ledger.

Sigh. Never a dull moment in my life, that's for sure.

(This was my 100th post and guess what guys? I still don't have a clue what I'm doing with my life. Maybe I'll figure it out this year?)
